This was written as a birthday present for my bestest beta, Imloco2. She loves Talyn John, and I thought it would be fun to write something about him for her. I tried to lead into some of what his attitude seemed to be at the beginning of Daedalus Demands, and I think it came out pretty well.

Summary: Can book learning trump Peacekeeper training, when Jool and Aeryn have a small Adventure....
Awards: 2007 Terra Firma Fanfiction Awards, Best Characterization, Moyan, Female (Jool) (Third Place)
This was written for the Ninth Starburst Challenge at Terra Firma. The challenge was to write a story using a pair of characters who didn't have much of a canonical relationship. Despite a rocky start, I came to love Jool partway through season 3, and I've always liked to write her with Aeryn, even though the two women shared only a handful of scenes on screen, so I thought they'd make a great pairing.

Summary: Aeryn crash-lands on a desert planet and faces the very real possibilty of the Living Death.
KernilCrash issued this challenge to get a character "hot and sweaty" by themselves, and then if you so desired, you could bring in another character. This is really an outgrowth of an idea I had way back in season 2 but never did anything with.
