Setting: Moya, 4 cycles after Peacekeeper Wars
Spoilers: Through Peacekeeper Wars
Summary: John and Aeryn have a difference of opinion on how to tell D'Argo about the facts of life.
This was written for the Sixteenth Starburst Challenge at Terra Firma. The requirements were that John or Aeryn should teach one of their children something of which the other disapproves. I'd already done "Aeryn wants to teach D'Argo to shoot and John thinks he's too young" (In Aeryn and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good Very Bad Day), so I thought I'd come at this from a different angle. I think the result is fun.

Summary: Young Olivia Crichton's boring day takes a turn for the better after an encournter with a critter.
This was the second story I wrote for the Sixteenth Starburst Challenge at Terra Firma. The requirements were that John or Aeryn should teach one of their children something of which the other disapproves. After writing The Birds and the Bees, I decided to give John a turn at making a disapproved-of decision. This story fits into my pre-PKW universe, and in some ways is a direct prequel to Fallout 7; however, you don't need to have read that story to understand this one.

Summary: Aeryn and her cranky son remind Pilot of the mother he left behind.
Awards: 2007 Terra Firma Fanfiction Awards, Best Characterization, Moyan, male (Pilot) (Third Place)
I've always wanted to see Aeryn showing newborn baby D'Argo to Pilot at the end of Peacekeeper Wars, and this kind of grew out of that. I think it's a nice exploration of Aeryn and Pilot's relationship, as well as Pilot and Moya.
