Setting: immediately postTwice Shy
Spoilers: Through Twice Shy
Summary: What happened after the cameras stopped rolling at the end of Twice Shy.
I wasn't initially very happy with the shippy tag of this episode (not buying the comms story, Johnny...), and to cheer myself up, I wrote a little addendum to fill out the scene. (I've since quit worrying about the frellin' comms, and am just enjoying the shippiness while we've got it!)
I realized that the addendum I'd written was from Aeryn's point of view, and I thought I'd see if I could get into John's head, too, for the flip side of the scene. He's definitely more reserved than she is about all this, I think because she's just so happy to know she hasn't lost him, and he's got so many other things to worry about, not the least of which is, has he just put her in danger.

Setting: Terra Firma filler
Spoilers: Through Terra Firma
Summary: This isn't how Aeryn expected to visit Earth, if she ever should. Chiana gives her a little advice.
I'm an Aeryn-centric fan, and I couldn't help thinking that, after her time with John on Talyn, expecially, she'd have had expectations of what it would be like to come to Earth, and part of her misery in this episode was surely because of how different things were.... And I'm really enjoying the hints of a big sister/little sister relationship between Aeryn and Chiana this season.

Setting: Terra Firma filler
Spoilers: Through Terra Firma
Summary: Olivia Crichton's world is turned upside down when her brother's new world comes crashing into her home.
I loved Terra Firma, and I loved Olivia Crichton. For a first meeting with a new character, she was remarkably rich and detailed, and I really believed she and John were brother and sister. So, when I decided to write the "missing" scene between "Merry frelling Christmas" and John saying goodbye to his family, I thought I'd use Livvy's point of view.

Setting: Kansas interlude
Spoilers: Through Kansas
Summary: A simple conversation between John and Aeryn during the one night on Earth in Kansas.
I tried to keep the mood and tone of the interaction between John and Aeryn in Kansas. I just thought there must have been a little bit of time for them to talk, since they were on speaking terms...

Setting: Into the Lion's Den, Part 1 interlude
Spoilers: One Aeryn spoiler through Natural Election, otherwise just ITLD
Summary: With nothing to do but wait for Crichton to decide what to do about Scorpius' wormhole project, Aeryn decides to get a long-overdue physical.
Waiting for Kansas was agony, and this just popped up the day before and demanded to be written and posted.
